Q. How many events have there been and how often do they occur?
A. Startup Weekend has hosted thousands events across the world, from Seattle to Singapore and everywhere in between. In San Diego, Startup Weekend Veterans & Military Families will be our fifth local event and the first that is specifically themed for military attendees. At this point, Startup Weekend San Diego hosts two events per year.
Q. Who is the typical Startup Weekend attendee?
A. Startup Weekend is well-attended by developers, designers, and entrepreneurs, all of whom come from different backgrounds and experiences. Our attendees range from students and recent grads to seasoned entrepreneurs and experienced startup veterans. Our Veterans & Military Families event will have a limited amount of tickets available to the general public, but military members will receive a discount and make up the majority of this event’s attendees.
